A Mentoring and Brainstorming Program for Recent College Graduates

A lot of kids today don’t have trusted adults outside of their family with whom they can discuss their ideas honestly. And for various reasons, it may be hard for them to talk to their parents about their ideas and dreams for the future.

This program is different from therapy in that is not about why they want to do something, just how they can do it. It’s an opportunity for them to discuss their thoughts about what they want to do without having to talk to their parents about it.

Young people open up to me because I take them seriously and am genuinely curious about them as people. They can tell or ask me anything - I am totally non-judgemental and calm. I will support them in anything they want to do. If your kid told me they wanted to join the circus, I would simply help them figure out how to do it.

I often find that kids who have a dream that they may not have been ready to share with their parents already know what they need to do. Sometimes they just need “permission” to follow their heart. Usually, one session is enough to set them on their way.
